This is How We Roll…and Rock!

Jenny and Laura Astwood are two sisters from New York who developed their own YouTube travel show with a unique twist. They both love to travel but it can be quite challenging because Jenny is an electric wheelchair. Each episode is based on a different US city where the two clearly show us the trials and tribulations of traveling with a disability.

The dynamic duo develop, write, script, direct, film, edit, produce and star in This is How We Roll. Their most recent show was on our fair City by the Bay and included BAADS. The sisters were skeptical that San Francisco, known for its many steep hills, could be accessible or even fun for a wheelchair traveler.

Their opinion quickly changed once they got here and got to know BAADS. They spent a day out on the Bay with the hostess with the mostest, Cristina, and her right hand crew, Jeremy. the segment also contains a quick history of 504 civil rights protests which they learned about while visiting the Paul Longmore Institute on Disability at SF State.

While Jenny and Laura may have gone into the experience with trepidation, they came out wholeheartedly converted and can’t wait to visit San Francisco again. Check out the SF Video episode here which will also allow you to sign up for future programs. Fantastic production all around!
