PARTS LIST FOR SINGLE SEAT INSTALLATION (Due to the many boats this type of installation can be adapted to, with some minor variations in both parts and mounting procedures, this list is not intended to be “all inclusive” and should be used only as a guide. Much of this material is “off the shelf” and can be purchased at local marine and hardware stores. All hardware shoud be stainless steel. 1. (1) Seat 2. (1) Custom 1/8” stainless steel plate, with tabs to facilitate mounting arms. 3. (4) Hex head bolts 1/4” of appropriate length to mount plate to seat 4. (4) Fender washers for above bolts. 5. (1) Pedestal, 12” shaft, Mod. 138664, (2 7/8” dia. tube). 6. (6) Flathead fastners, 5/16” X 1” to mount pedestal to plate. 7. ( 6) Elastic stop nuts for above fastners (seat bottom must be relieved for nuts). 8. (1) Custom seat bearing, composite material, 1” X 3 7/8” with 2 7/8” bore. Must be fastened to shaft either by pins or set screw. 9. (1) Deck plate, 6” dia., Mod.103606 with 6 fastners. 10. (1) Custom reinforcing plate of 1/8” composite material, cored to fit deck plate and sized/drilled (countersunk) to mate with Spider and Bearing Surface. Radius corners and bevel edges. Mount externally. 11. (1) Custom bearing surface 1/4” composite material, cored to fit pedestal shaft (2 7/8”) and drilled to match with Reinforcing plate and Spider. Mount internally. 12. (4) Flathead fastners, 5/16“ X 2” to bolt assembly together and to boat surface. 13. (4) Washers for above fastners. 14. (4) Elastic stop nuts for above fastners. 15. (1) Universal polypropylene spider Mod. 1451764, cored to adapt to 2 7/8” shaft. 16. (2) Hinged padeyes, Johnson Mod. 49-570. One for shoulder harness and one for crotch strap. Use with appropriate fastners. 17. (2) Folding padeyes, Wichard Mod. 451757, for lap belt. NOTE: All penetrations of mounting surfaces (boat) should be sealed with appropriate material. |
