BAADS really does need new skippers!
Our current fleet is getting “old” and needs some refreshing with new people to pass on the skill of sailing. Skippers are a key component of our core mission: To teach disabled folks and their supports how to sail. Some candidates come to the task with previous sailing experience and some start totally new.
Alex Okrut will hold two info sessions where he talks about requirements for BAADS members to become keelboat skippers. Members of all experience levels are welcome. When: March 19 @ 12pm & April 23 @ 12pm, South Beach Harbor Community room, Pier 40, San Francisco.
