New Dinghy Dock Carpet – A Big Thanks To Everyone Involved

On December 3, nine intrepid volunteers replaced the carpet on the BAADS dinghy dock.  The project took more than 70 person hours, but through their undaunted courage the project was completed on time and under budget.  Of course, the budget was helped in that we only had to pay the volunteers a free lunch.  The majority of the work was finished on Saturday, but some finishing work and cleanup was done on Sunday.
The project got a jumpstart when John Wallace organized us to remove the old carpet on Friday.  Michael Marinaro donated lunch.  Having the new carpet will reduce the wear and tear on the dinghies, and provide a better environment for both SBYC and BAADs.  Please remember to thank the volunteers when you see them.
