Save the Dates: Race Clinics on January 10 and February 14
Racers, we are very pleased to announce that Paul Zupan, the international racing judge who spoke at the recent racing rules seminar, has generously offered to conduct two race clinics in January & February. More details to follow but here’s the main information: On Saturday, January 10, Paul and another experienced racer from the St. Francis Yacht Club will coach BAADS sailors in an on-the-water racing workshop. And on Saturday, February 14, he and another racing judge will provide on-the-water umpiring for our Saturday races. We are honored that he has offered to work with us and excited to be able to benefit from his extensive experience. Everyone please mark your calendars now as we hope to get a big turnout of racers and volunteers. Please sign up on our regular sign-up website for these events. If these are successful, we hope to attract other experienced volunteers from the St. Francis Yacht Club, SBYC and other clubs who would be interested in coaching our racers.
